In Book Three, Zzaflima and her sister Zzazzaflama are dueling on the “Wasp” world to see who will be the next “Wasp” Queen when Hharad stumbles into the arena and convention goes out the window. Later, Zzaflima plays a key role in the defense of the Tavern and learns to wield her electrostatic stinger to real effect.
